Not everyone gets to live a short bike ride from their break. If you have to cover some more ground, or just love zipping around on your moped or scooter, our Moped Racks are for you. We’ve adapted our same quick release bars with some unique mounting hardware specially adapted to work with tubular cargo racks common to moped and scooters.  This also makes them an ideal match for moped style electric bikes including RadRunners, Scramblers, and the Super 73.

MBB Moped Racks are the best racks around for carrying a board to the beach with your Moped. The racks feature our patent pending quick release bars, so you can pop the bars in when you need them, and pop them out with the push of a button when you don't. The bars mount to tubular cargo racks common on most mopeds, and because the rack bars are mounted separately they can spread out to carry long boards and SUPs on many mopeds. All aluminum and stainless construction for coastal environments, fits a wide array of mopeds and scooters and just about any surfboard. We recommend the racks for boards 7-8 feet in length when bars are mounted together, or longer boards when bars are mounted apart. Racks have been evaluated on typical mounting configurations at speeds up to 30 mph.

Need a set of SUP bars to carry your thicker board or perhaps a pair of boards?  Add both items to your cart and a 20% discount will automatically be applied to the SUP Bars.

Our Moped Rack installation video gives you a full run down of the installation procedure for the Moped Racks. We went all out on this one to show the wide range of installation options supported by this hardware. If you still have questions after you watch the video, send us a few pics of your ride and we’ll tell you how we would recommend installing on it –
