Coastin is made from injection moulded Swiss Grilamid. Swiss TR90 Grilamid is an extremely light, extremely tough, shape-retaining and highly durable polymer ideal for the manufacture of lightweight eyewear. Formulated as synthetic titanium, TR90 Grilamid's outstanding properties include excellent flexural fatigue strength, high resistance to chemicals and fracturing and excellent weathering and UV resistance. Swiss TR90 Grilamid is the highest quality and lightest engineering plastic in existence.
